How long is the program??The half and full marathon training program is 16 weeks and will prepare you to participate in a fall half or full marathon (the Victoria Half and Full Marathon is October 10, 2010).
How much will it cost and where do we run from and what does it include??The cost of the program is $100. The cost will include: a Saturday morning long run, a Wednesday night workout, and 10% discount on store purchases. We will also provide you with a training manual that will help guide you through the program. Each week we try to run our long runs on different scenic courses. Come find out why everyone in our clinic is having so much fun and success. Our goal is to help prepare you to enjoy your running experience and want to continue running for a lifetime. Meet our leader KathieKathie has been the leader of our clinic since we opened the store in 2001 (this will be her 18th clinic). Everyone who has run with her in one of those 18 marathon clinics finds her very motivational and inspirational. She leads by example. She is a single mother of four who works full time yet still finds time to have completed over 20 marathons and train for the Ironman triathlon. Three years ago she ran a best time of 3:16 and her goal is to continue running for years to come. Kathie most definitely is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and hopes that others will gain the benefits she has from leading an active running lifestyle. |
